Is seeking a Senior Locksmith
For a position in Palmdale, California, USA
Job Description: 4 years industrial locksmith or, completion of
approved trade school. Obtain TS/SAR access.
Performs such duties as: operate, maintain, and
troubleshoot an automated access control system
(AACS). Generates AACS reports in support of
Special Access Program security requirements.
Keeps records of AACS Requests for Access.
Responsible for the installation, repair, and
maintenance of various types of key and
combination-type lock. GSA containers, card key
systems, security panels, and electronically and
manually-operated cyber locks. Prepares orders for
locking hardware, tools, and equipment. Maintains
records on lock and key inventories as well as
location of issued locks and keys; maintains
manual and automated lock and key record files.
Must be able to interface and collaborate with
program security personnel, customer security
personnel, and vendor/suppliers in the design of
new or modified security locking/control systems
problems. Candidate must be able to operate a
computer workstation. Must meet minimum job
skills requirements and security clearance and
program access.
